I just saw the skeeter package boats at a local show and they are priced right! But you have very limited choices. Same with the phoenix. I'm not a big skeeter fan but the phoenix are nice. I think bottom line, they are comparable price wise.?

One other boat to keep in mind is the Charger 396. This is nearly the same size as the 198, rated for a 225 and there are a couple brand new ones on the web for in the $50k range.
396 is a slick boat. surprised more haven't been sold.
2014 Charger 496 / Merc 250 Pro XS
396 is a sweet ride it’s actually has a longer deck than most 20 ft boats.
I had one. I loved it. Roomy, stable and reasonably fast. Mine had a 225 Opti, not the XS. Ran 68 all the time loaded. Only thing i disliked was when the motor was tilted all the way up you could smash the wires and/or fuel line. Wasn't a problem for me but if a partner loaded the boat I had to remind him of this. Oh and my partners liked the squared off transom, gave them more room.

I'm just don't take anything I say seriously. Thanks to a few issues I won't be buying a new Charger for at least another year.
same everything as the 210 ,front lids will be shorter that it.
WOW, that thing is nice, you guys are going to love it!!
Snoop, did you pick yours up already??
What you talking about willis
The 198 is going to be the same as the 210 with exception of the length unless changes are made and that is not being released just yet, so everyone keep speculating and keep the interest up
Still feel the consoles need a redesign, never liked the look of the insert and wasted space. That and all doors having locks is what I would like. Looking forward to this 198. I sold my 2003 Champ in 2010, had a bay boat and then bought a Legend in 2012...I’m looking again. 198 was the reason I sold but the second bankruptcy killed that. Will check back to see what’s built...tight lines.
