I would bet its going to be 55,000 as there's no way 12 inches is 20,000 .The motor is only 1500 difference and everything else cost the same.
Low $40s, now that there is funny. The Charger 210 and 198 could have possibly started a little lower if they had indeed obtained the original molds, but having splashed existing boats to build their own molds, they have to recoup that expense somehow. Question to me is, how long will Johnny let them go before he drops the legal boom on them. Surely there is some kind of a copyright infringement claim that could be made. I'm no lawyer, but lawsuits have occurred over lesser issues.
Just change one thing and its not a copyAnd does Johnny even care as he sells 30,000+ boats a year of different brands.I dont think 10 are even worth the paper work.

New trucks cost 50,000 -80,000 they sell a ton
Just for argument sake what is the perfect price that everyone will go out and buy a new 20 ft bass boat?Joe ran the 396 at 39,000 and the 186 at 29,000 guess how many they sold?I am betting it would have to be at 15,000 to sell a ton and that ain't happening ever again.

Wow....this is nice to hear!! Hope they can pull this off and hit the sweet spot on pricing.
I also agree with deleting the logo striping. Maybe they get rid of it and just increase the size of the Charger name plate if they are looking for more brand recognition. It would suck to ruin one of nicer styled boats with that...looks like an after thought....or try and make it more angular with sharper corners. Don't think this would ultimately stop me from buying it's more about price and workmanship, but for someone not familiar the Champion line then that styling cue might make them overlook it.

Fury 4 24p @ 5,750 fully loaded
If that boat is 50K forget selling many. It needs to come in mid 40's tops and they need to put a few in the right peoples hands to get people in them. Print ads are great, but If you can't see one in person, nobody will buy.
A 396 with a 225 for $39.000??? How long ago???... What's ballpark on a 496???... Dan

The 496 was 46,000
The 797 with 250 sho and plate with hds 10 inch and 8 inch was 55,000 .
Probably need to hold off on price speculation before Charger corporate office gives the actual prices. Don't want to run anymore off by guessing.
When I was in the market I considered a 396 really close. I remember it being 44000 start price and equipped the way I wanted I bought the boat I got now for the same price. I wasn't a huge fan of the 396 layout after getting in it in persons. Same size class as the 198. Had the 198 been available at the same price point and equipped at the same price as the boat I got I would of got the 198 hands down. With that said if I could get a 198 with dual poles, 112 fortrex, jp, hotfoot, blinker trim, padded deck, tandem c channel trailer and 2 hds 9 units with a point 1 for 56k I would be all over it.
I would say it will be close to that 56,000 mark .
