    Outstanding job Humminbird!

Helix Gen 2 mega imaging, outstanding Onix updates, and now the great reveal. I for one think they have been hitting out of the park lately. So much cool new stuff and we haven't even seen the great "new reveal" yet. It must be good! Can't wait.

Me too. The alternative is being left for dead, which is not preferred.

it can be dead and still get updates. dead simply means it's going away for something new

Our definition of "dead" is very different.

Don't want to be stick in the mud, but Cabelas just dumped all its Onix models at 60% discount, over the past three months. We are either getting a gift, or a royal screwing from HB. The curtain goes up in about 15 minutes

dead to me means the line will not continue. example, there will not be an onix gen 2. the 1100 series is dead....the helix is alive. humminbird has always continued support for discontinued models. at least for a couple of years

Well the Solix is here 12", and 15" models with ability to communicate. Either a homerun, or a fly out to left field, time will tell, same price point which some say killed the Onix

dead as in they are not making them any longer and have classified them as legacy units...not dead as in its going to suddenly stop working

Maybe you should write a book so all of us idiots and manufacturers will know what guidelines we need to be following

I'm really curious to see if a update for the Onix comes out and what it will address or change or add to these units.
