I was talking with one of my buddy's about baits we have the most sustained success on and we both realized it's easy to forget the effectiveness and versatility of a tube. I started thinking about all the different ways I like to rig them, and decided to throw together a video...including the urban legend "secret alka seltzer trick" haha. What's your favorite way to rig a tube?

I haven't thought about the seltzer deal since back in the 80's. We used to do that with bedding fish on Santee Cooper back then. It does work, but you will get plop plop fizz fizz all over the place LOL.
Used to take a piece of sponge and soak it in scent and put it in the tube so it would last longer.
I've done that with foam earplugs

You can cut a floater to fit inside the tube. Put it on a carolina rig and the tube will slowly float up. Works great when fish are chasing bait on a flat

we used to use krackle. it worked great on spawning smallmouth if they wouldn't take it we would hit em with krackle.

I use tubes year around, easily the most fished bait in the boat. I rig them mostly on stupid heads, but like oldhams tube heads as well.
