USA 1999 Mercury 175 EFI -roughly 100 psi on all cylinders -good / bad?

1999 175 hp Mercury EFI -compression showing all around 100
PSI-does this indicate a motor that is in poor to fair outboard shape?
These numbers on the lower end of the spectrum for a 17 year old motor?

Wait for others to weigh in but:
Variation in compression is the item of major interest. You describe almost none, so that's a good thing.

    I
its on a boat in my area- they re selling boat and motor as package (bass boat) - boat has cruddy gel cote and cracks on gel plus weaker 100 PSI readings - they want $11k- no way in my book!

Fom seller : “usually if the readings on all cylinders are consistent than its fine” even at lower PSI rating...is that true- doesn't sound like it......

Shop for a better boat/motor deal. This seems quite overpriced when compared to many other packages.
The motor may well be fine but your description of the boat's condition is not in line with the price as a general observation.
