I ordered this one and installed it on my 2016 Ranger RP 190 trailer. Works like a dream and you can adjust the part that bolts to the trailer so stowing is a breeze. It sure moves around easy to. The original jack was a total waste. I wouldn't give $2 for it. It's in the garage and I ought to throw it in the trash.

Agreed the stock one is junk so I would like to make a switch...

What is the difference between these two? The XLT vs the F2? I looked at both but its difficult to discern? I would prefer to do no modification if at all possible.

I have a RT178 trailer which I think is similar to the RT188 trailer.

Looks to me like the F2 would be a better fit, although more $. Just make sure you get the one with the 5.5" x 4.5" bolt hole pattern for the RT188 trailer and prob other Ranger trails as well.

Guy's I don't know if the 178 , 188 trailers are the same measurements . The XLT will work on the 188 with 2 options . Either modify the pin hole to pin the jack up or replace the 8 inch wheel with the factory jack 6 inch wheel and it will pin right up . Bobcat didn't mention if he had to modify the F2 on his RP190 . The F2 looks like it is more compact but stouter than the XLT .

I was wondering about the adjustment you mentioned then looked at all the pics on the link and that's sharp ! Can't go wrong with that jack ...

Can anyone confirm of the Fulton F2 fits without modification on the RT188 trailer. I really need to replace the POJ original jack. Thanks and tight lines...

Thanks for pics Bobcat! Looks like that may be the one for me. The RT trailer seems to be slightly different, but looks like it may work without modification.

Going to depend on if you need a high lift jack or not. If you hitch ball is high like mine due to a lift kit on my truck, the XLT will be the way to go.

The one I showed and bought works great with a Ford F150 4X4. How much is your truck lifted? I put the wheel forward and the top of jack towards the boat to make it drop just right. Not much raising or lowering.

I just ordered this one. It's the same one as in the picture above. The pin came loose on my original jack and the trailer dropped. Lucky my feet weren't in the way.
