On the 2nd video, what is causing all of the screen clutter?

For me, that's pretty normal for where I have the sensitivity set using the PS21 or 31. Actually that would be my target setting. Generally I ignore most everything except pink and red. Pink meaning that it's within range but not pointed directly at it. When I'm in a narrow creek channel sometimes I also see pink inclines. If I turn the xd to point directly to the bank the slope is exactly the same as the pink inclines so I take it that either the edges of the cone or the side lobes are picking up the bank. For me, I have no issue with the clutter. I think that I can instantly identify what's fish and what's not fish. I often have trouble discriminating between a school of bait and a school of fish; particulary white bass. The walleye don't seem to school as tightly so for them they often show up as a collection of doughnuts where a school of white bass is more of a blob.
My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.

In the first pic, the yellow and red blob to the left of the fish? Is that a brush pile? Just trying to understand for when I get on the water.

Nice to see an advanced sonar capable of making location of fish a little easier. As a lifelong icer guy I have longed for something like this. Up to this point the humminbird quadrabeam was my ultimate weapon . Now I just got to figure out how they built that gizmo for using it on the ice. Won't help me much this year due to our stupid weather.
But I almost feel sorry for the fish the next normal winter we get. On second though scratch that I owe those fish a thing or two.

For years I have used Bottomlines sideview, until I got my panoptix unit adapted for ice fishing. Put it on a T conduit pipe set up......
