    596/797 Layouts

Im thinking about selling my iClass this year....I have always liked Charger boats, but their webpage does now show much on the layouts of the boats, and there are no dealers around here to go look at them. I have owned a Charger and Stratos before and liked them both even tho they were older models....Stratos has more detailed info on their webpage....Does anyone have a pics of their dual console 596 or 797 on deck layout, drivers console etc...

if you scroll down you will see the silver 396 ,dash seats front deck is the same as the 496/596
.The only difference in the rear deck is the the live wells are right behind the seats and the rear storage boxes are twice as big.
The 596 has a 105 inch front deck and 62 on rear .

I've always liked Chargers. Just hate that many of the models only offer dual consoles. A single console 396 would be bad ass. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but don't they only offer the 176,195,296,797, and 210 in single or dual console.

After having a dual console, I don't think I could go back with a single....I love EVERY thing about the new Chargers except the consoles....

That's a Champion to me..Maybe in the next model line they will revamp the consoles to look more modern

I have seen the 210 and think the console is sweet, but to each his own!!

I see no reason why in todays world, all boats don't have the option for a removable console. It just makes since!!!
That way, either way you prefer its there.

Especially on a smaller boat where room is a premium!!

Charger has been shooting itself in the foot for years, by not up dating its boats. If they would put the same energy in to their 396,496,596, as they have these Champs, they could sell a lot more boats. I like dual consoles myself, choices man choices!!!

Charger will need to have the beam forward designs on all its boats. Even the Champ although the deck is wider, it's not near as wide as where the market is at or heading. The old saying you gotta spend money to make money rings louder than ever now. The Champ will sell a few boats, but in this day and age its more of a niche because of the legend of its ride. People want bells and whistles, wider front decks, big consoles, C channel trailers etc. I love my 296, but it was outdated when I bought it 16 years ago. One other major flaw is the live well placement on most models.

The 797 is one of the widest boats on the market, almost 10 inches wider than the 496,596,210.Maybe just cut that down to a 20' model and have one heck of a line up.Maybe make the 496/596 series a economical model 40,000 ready to fish .

According to the measurement post the 797 is 40 inches across at the foot tray and the 210 is 56 inches across at the foot tray. So the 797 is not 10 inches wider.

I think the tray is further back from the bow on the 210

Yes the 797 is wider also the 210 is 90 inch deck 797 100 and 596 is 105.So you get a wider deck and longer if that's what your looking for. Some don't need the super wide boat and the 210 and 396/496/596 will fit that purpose.Lots of choices in the Charger line.

I see the measurements at 80 in front of the consoles carpet to carpet. The beam is listed at 96 on the 797. Granted it is not nearly as wide as the new Falcon 215. Now that new Falcon 215 is truly wide at a 99 inch beam. That thing blows away a 797.
