I've tried them and personally not a fan. Bought because they seemed better on the fish but the clips don't stay on after fish have been in the well for a while. Also come right off when trying to pull out of well. I had a couple clips break and emailed manufacture who gladly sent replacements but I stopped using and switched to the traditional style
Partner and I tried them, but same as above. Several clips broke and had issues with them coming off in the livewell.

I liked the idea but I didn't have good luck with them.
good idea in theory , but they don't work

I have and use them all the time. No issues with them coming off. Maybe contact the manufacturer in case you got a bad batch.
