    My Questions Are Never Ending!...Holeshot - RPM's - WOT??

Been reading on here and I see all kinds of different holeshot times, wot speeds, & rpm's, and I got to wondering about my boat.
I won't be able to get her on the water for a while and wondering if anyone knows what I can, or should expect if...
motor is running good and water conditions are fairly decent.

    A 1999 202dc
    - Merc 200 efi
    - 25p Tempest Plus...Looks like ALL medium plugs, but not sure
    - 8" Rapid Jack Manual...Currently has a Rite Hite, but RJ is literally on the way.
    - Will start at 3.5 p2p
***Prop will be B&B'd by Croxton AFTER I run, in case it needs tweaked as well.
I will be running med to light loads of gear, and about 2/3 tank gas & 3 agm's

I am aware that it should be a great handling boat, but I'm also wondering about:

    - Hole shot time...(I'm really hoping for less than 5 sec)
    - Best rpm's to hope for at wot
    - Top speed to hope for at wot
    - where should water pressure be?...Over 20? Never had a Merc, just etec & sho

    Thanks for your input

2- 3 second on hole shot depending on load. Speeds will be mid 60's loaded ready to fish at around 5800-6000 RPM depending on temps. WP, anything over 15 is fine at WOT some say 12.

Setup for your top end and it'll probably take care of the holeshot.

With your regular load you want to be at 5,800 rpms, low roostertail, firm not stiff steering and no water breaking out the sides. Find that happy place (not hard) and it's very likely holeshot will also be very good.

Do you find your steering to firm turning both ways? Should it have the same feel both ways or is one way always a little harder?
