I'm working on a project to fill a void on my front deck that's 17" x 20" and was wanting to see what type of products are available for covering it. I would like to go with carpet but Im having trouble finding a small enough piece without a lot of waste. Anyone worked on something like this? Any suggestions on covering it? I am currently using a piece of wood....thought about a 1" thick piece of plastic!? Thanks
Here is what I did. I made a box and support edge of plywood. Then aluminum lid...Re did all the carpet same time .Wasnt that expensive

Looks good 12many....preciate the share. I'm still bouncing a few ideas around. I have the 2014 z7 sport and have a rod box directly below where my extension will be. The rod box is pretty much useless due to it being so small but still trying to figure out exactly what route I should take.
