Your tourney circuit does not have HP restrictions?

Just put a SHO 200 on the back and let Hydro Tec make it a 300+...it will probably cost about the same...

Still asking if his circuit has HP restrictions. Many do, so hoping the OP has no restrictions!

My guess is 80 on a good day/load. 77 the rest of the time.

It is a center console triton...I don't care what it's on that Yami SHO is the real deal when the guys at H T get done with one. Will be buying a 200 Sho this spring as soon as I sell my 3.3L VMAX.

Would have to say that's the biggest bang for the buck.

I had an 08 with a 300XS (actually getfished boat 2 owners before). I still miss that boat and by far the most regrettable boat I've ever sold. The best I could ever get was low 79's. That was solo, 1/2 tank and I fish light compared to most. I'm convinced it had 81-82 with the right driver, but I struggled with it over 77. But it was 75 no matter what load I put in it. I doubt 80's tournament loaded with a partner, but 75-77 all day and with driver ability and enough $$, you might could get it to 80 on tournament day. But that boat could carry a speed on non ideal condition days like no other hull that I've been in which are way more common around here.

Hell put a 400 R on it, or buy a Stroker.

Doesn't matter which way you're running as long as the gps says 79mph, it's 79mph... Dan

All I know is I can go faster down river than I can up river. No lakes around here to open it up on so I have no idea if the current helps or not

In rivers with decent current, it definitely helps. Maybe not a lot, but I did get over 1-2 mph better going with the current on the James here in VA.

Barbarian your old 202 Bass & Bay has probably been to more or just as many now. Did a trip last Oct through Texas to the Champion TOC on Table Rock. Looking for a new destination for this spring after TOC on Toledo Bend.
