Bad water pressure 98 225 optimax

Replaced the water pump in my 1998 225 optimax due to low water pressure. I still have low water pressure and noticed today I'm loosing alot of water around the top of the lower unit. I know the pickup tube is properly aligned and I've made shure the water lines are free from obstruction this has me scratching my head any help is appreciated

Are you testing the pressure on the hose, or in the water?

What is the pressure at idle?
Pressure specifications are given for idle and WOT only.
I suggest that you lake test the boat, because ram pressure will make a difference.
