    Slidemaster JP Bolt size help.

    Hey guys, anyone know what size the side bolts are? Diameter? Thread type? I'm installing a second hand talon JP bracket and it didn't come with these mounting bolts.

    Both Slidemaster aluminum nut plates stripped out while re-torquing, so I drilled them out and bought longer bolts with matching Nylock nuts. Old bolts are 1/2-13 threads.

    This link is for the PP bracket but the bolts are the same (the MK instructions don't provide the length). They are 1/2 diameter and a couple of different lengths from 2 inches long to 3.5. I have Talons and I used bolts that have 2 or 3 threads sticking out of the Slidemaster plate. I am not sure if I used bolts from the Talon bracket or PP brackets (I have both). I've had anchors and Slidemasters on a couple of different boats and haven't had a problem stripping them using a half inch drive ratchet or 3/4 wrench.
