Once again CCBM will reward the top 3 point accumulating teams for the 2017 Open tournaments with end of the season prizes. To be eligible one member must be signed up as the captain, and, along with any partner(s), his team accumulates points towards the year end point total.
We will count points for 4 out of the 5 Opens toward the final standings.
First place overall points winner will receive $250.00 in Susquehanna Fishing Tackle gift cards.
Second place overall points winner will receive 2 Dobyns rods, total retail value of $220.00
Third place overall points winner will receive $125.00 in Sunoco gas cards.
Something new this year :
We will hold a Bi-Hourly Big Bass Open Team tournament on August 19 out of Anchor Marine.
There will be four ( 4 ) time periods of two ( 2 ) hours each in which you can weigh your biggest bass.
The team that weighs the biggest bass in each time period will win that time periods cash.
That means 4 chances for each team to win cash in this tournament.
Entry fee for this tournament will be $ 125 per boat.

2017 Changes:
We've purchased the best available zippered weigh-in bags with mesh bag inserts. These bags will be used by all contestants to weigh their fish.
We have worked with Maryland DNR and Anchor Marine to have a full setup of aerated weigh in line tanks along with an oxygenated release tank.
Please be sure to have a full bag of water when you bring the bass to weigh in, if standing in line remove the mesh bag of fish and hold them in the aerated tanks. Once your bag is weighed you will take the bag to the release tank where the fish will recuperate while oxygen is released into the tank. The bass will be released after spending time in this supercharged O2 water.
Off Limits :
1 - A diagonal line from the fixed fishing pier at the town park to the east ( Blue house ) side of the first canal on the left as you leave the marina, this includes the entire Anchor Marina basin and docks and Nauti Goose docks.
2 - Below a west-east line across bay from south point of Bush River to south point of Still Pond Cove.
The Bush River and Still Pond will be the southernmost fishable waters for the Opens.
This eliminates some concerns on transporting and dislocating bass from the Middle, Gunpowder, Back Rivers, etc., to the North East River.

Chester County has been certified to be Quest eligible for the Bass Cat prize money again this year for our 5 Opens and for the Bi Hourly Big Bass tournament. The Bi hourly winner ( if in a Bass Cat ) will be the overall heaviest bass weighed in.
To be eligible for Quest money you have to be either the original owner of a Bass Cat, or if you bought a used boat ( 2000 or newer ) have called Bass Cat and transferred ( registered ) the lifetime warranty into your name. For older boats from 1999 back you must call Bass Cat to register.
Tournaments must have 30 boats to be eligible. If you win one of our Open tournaments out of a Bass Cat you will need to have your photo taken at weigh in with a Bass Cat hat, shirt or jacket on ( not all 3 ).
There is an online form you fill out that is found on the Quest section of the Bass Cat website, this must be sent in within 30 days of the tournament.
If you win one of our Opens in a registered Bass Cat and there are 30 boats in the tournament you will receive $ 250.00 from Bass Cat. If both people in the boat own a Bass Cat and both are registered with Bass Cat they will receive an additional $ 125.00 for a total of $ 375.00
For 60 boats or more the prize money jumps to $ 500.00 and if both own a Bass Cat $ 750.00.
Over 100 boats it is $ 1000.00. and $1500.00 if both own a Bass Cat
