    Fishing and a new moon

I'm in need of some schooling on when to fish a new moon, before or after, during or when.

I love the new moons. I find 2 days before to 3 days after is prime time.

You might also try www.huntfishsport.com This site allows You to punch in the coordinates to the area(s) You plan to fish. I punched up "Stokesdale Area" (I hit the map a tad above Greensboro) for the month of January. There is a "Good" and "Excellent" period for both a.m. and p.m. and this is exhibited via a Star award system. 1 Star/2 Star..

    https://www.huntfishsport.com

Edit: First link is for the site proper and the second link (lower) is for the Month of January for the area above Greensboro. If You get a chance to go You can check for Yourself.

    Good Luck

You'll notice that the 12th (Full Moon) is a 5Star 'stab' and as BBC member "WVBullet" pointed out the days prior/after also rate a few Stars..

Edit: Full Moon is the 12th = 5 Star. New Moon on the 27th - 5 Star..

Now You just have to use the correct bait/lure

Only time I pay attention to it really is during the spawn. Perhaps I should watch it more closely though to see if I notice any effect during other times of year.
