N.E. Texas Update.

Anyone who is interested, I woke to temps in the upper 60's this morning. Headed out to the local lake and found that winds were blowing 15 to 25. Decided to go anyway. The water was 51 to 53 degrees. Most all grasses were dead due to several days in a row getting down to 16 degrees. It was still there. Just dead-ish. The water was clear enough to see a couple feet.

I was only able to spend 2.5 hours out this morning. This time of year we are typically going to get one or two bites all day. I got two. One on a spinner bait, one on a frog. Jan 1st I had three fish swing at a frog but they all missed. Today there was no doubt the fish wanted it.

The biggest was just about 3.5 to 4 lbs. The other was a 1.5 lb buck bass.

Better Luck Next Time !!!!
