    outboard 2017 warranty

    Is this right on new outboard warrenty ?
    Evenrude 10 years
    Mercury 8 years

    Eight years on a merc is goin to be nice.
    Hope price of unit dosen't go up.
    Gettin a merc 250 soon.

    Mercury and Yamaha have 3 year factory. They both have promotions to get you to 5 or 6 years or you can buy the extra warranty outside of the promotions. I think you can end up buying up to 7 years on those two. Evinrude really stepped up offering 10 years
