Question 1988 184 SV Trailer Width?

I'm in the process of building a fence and cover on the side of the house to get my boat back to the house. Currently Its stored at my Dads place about 100 miles away.

I need the trailer width to decide of I need 12' or 10' for the gate.

If someone has one in this year range handy, Id appreciate a measurement, or I'll just have to bite the bullet and make the 3 hour round trip.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

I think you would be safe with 10'. I own an 89 184, and I believe the storage unit its in currently has a 10' door. Of course, 12' is always a little easier to work with.

You're going to be real close to 8' wide at the fenders

Just won't go thru a standard 8' garage door, about 1/2" too wide. I built my garage with a 10' door and worked great for my 1985. Same width as your '88 .

Fish, finally measured mine. It is probably same trailer as yours, except mine is for the 176.
    Trailers Inc mfg. 11-6-84.

The widest point of my rig is the outside edges of the tires-98". Hope that puts your mind at ease with a.10 ft. Door.
