    Downsizing prop question.

What is the rule of thumb for rpm increase when stepping down in pitch?

Pulling kids on the tube last year with a 26 BravoXS and I am wanting to add a few hundred rpms to the speed I was pulling them at. If I drop to a 24 would that add approx 200 rpms?

200 rpm either way is what I always thought. 1 inch of pitch = 200 rpm

    26 to a 24 = 400 rpm
