Who's been in the past? Would it be worth going from Winston area? What's the directions to get there from Winston-Salem Clemmons area?

I've been a few times but I don't live that far away from the fairgrounds. Since I am close, its an OK way to kill a couple of hours if you don't have anything else to do but I would not drive from WS to attend unless I was reeeeaaaaaly bored. Keep in mind it is the bass and saltwater fishing expo so not everything is related to bass fishing.

berudd nailed it pretty good, if you are tired of being snowed in and nothing else to do and realllllllllllly bored it is ok.
Jaws62 that is exactly why I'm going. Can't get the boat out the driveway and going stir crazy setting around watching the tube or playing on this machine. Mainly goi ng to set in a few seminars, and maybe see some old friends to boot.
i may go...just so i can get a fair grounds hot dog... otherwise, just stay at home and watch some DVR bassmaster or FLW episodes...

I am going for sure now that fairground hotdogs were mentioned, and might get a mecury hat if i get there fast enough.

i've eaten everything in the building, and only the BBQ sandwhich and the hotdogs are worth the drive...

I'm going Friday with my son to look around. I've worked the Federation booth with the casting kids in the past and always had fun talking to people.
The biggest difference year to year is who's doing the demonstration on the tank.
I thought they did the same show at the Greensboro Coliseum a week later?
The corner cafe is in the Jim Graham bldg.

I'm picking up my new rods Friday from Alex at ALX Rods who will be at the show.
Are the seminars included with admission? Timmy Horton and Edwin Evers back to back would be cool to see.
Yep, part of the expo. Years ago I went on a Friday night when Denny Brauer was there and just sat and talked with him over an hour. One of those January winter storms was coming through that night. There may have been a dozen people there other than people working the booths. It was cool sitting there talking fishing with a legend.

There are a few decent deals to be had at the expo, but I normally go for the seminars as well. Some really good information and normally some good guest appearances. I've especially found the electronics seminars very helpful for improving my deep water game.

Does anyone know times and days the seminars are held?
