Question Anyone been to a Crappie University in your area?

I've been to two Bass Universities that came thru years ago and learned a lot of stuff I still use today, but signed up for my first Crappie U and wondered what others thought of it. 3 weeks till first night of 4 and hoping I learn some good stuff. Anyone attended one?

I have been Crappie fishing for 55 years but I would go to one if it was close to me. You never stop learning about them.

The first night was taught by John Godwin and Jay Stone and I didn't learn much, a lot of Duck Dynasty talk and stories about their Crappie Classic win. The second night however Barry Morrow was the speaker and man that guy left nothing out. I learned so much from him I doubt the next 2 nights will even keep me interested. I could have stayed and listened to him for hours. If you ever get the chance to attend a class of Barry's don't miss it.

We just finished our Crappie University here at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Cost was $85.00 for 4 nights/classes. Some speakers were better than others but overall I learned a lot and would recommend it. Hope they come back next year.
