    115 SHO prop?

What is everyone running on their 115 Sho. I currently running a Turbo 17 pitch great hole shot but bumping the rev limiter right when I get on pad on my Ranger RP190. Thinking of putting a little cup to run more like an 18 pitch. I have tried 19 and 21 and they do great on top end but don't have the lift and sluggish on the hole shot. Have not tried a 4 blade yet. Suggestions?

How long have you had your motor? The air in Texas is colder and dryer this time of the year than it will be come this June, July, August. The engine is making more HP. When the weather is hotter and more humid less HP will be made and the WOT RPM will come down. If you add more cup to your propeller it might work just fine now but cause the motor to feel like a dog this summer.

Many will run two props. One for the winter and one for the summer.

If you are only going to run one propeller I would stay with yours the way that it is now. If and when the engine might over speed at this time of the year you have got a means to prevent that.

    I have a 19P, I think it's a powertech.
it came stock. I usually reach right at 6k RPMS at full throttle.

Got an '16 RT188 and I'm running a 20p Laser II on mine. Had it cupped a bit by Croxton. Don't have anything to compare it to, only prop I've run! Lot of guys running these props! Pushing about 6k rpm @ WOT. Good hole shot and upper 40's.

Currently running a power tech PTR3 21p . Getting a good hole shot and getting 48ish gps consistently at around 6100 . The motor came with a power tech RAF3 21p . About all it would turn was 5700, maybe 5800 . With a load it was worse . I had it pitched down to 19 and a little cup tweak . I haven't tried it yet because I'm enjoying the PT3 .

    It's all good !

I'm running a Powertech NRS3 18p. Turns right at 6200 with great holeshot.

Best I've seen is 47. With my partner and I, with a full tournament load of gear, it runs around 44. These are GPS speeds.

I also had the vent holes opened to 5/16". Gets out the hole incredibly well.

I have 2017 rp190 with hydraulic jack plate. 115 sho. Swapped
19 pitch ss to turbo fx4 20 pitch. Better performance than 3 blade. Full load
running 6100 rpm and 47 gps WOT. Gets on plane in a jiffy and rides better at slower rpm's
handles turns great and lest blow out when trimming up.

I just bought a 2017 RB 190 with a 115 SHO. Came with a stainless 19 pitch prop, I just finished the first 2 hours of breakin Sunday so I haven't really stretched her legs but I did open her up a couple of times. GPS showed me at 43mph into the wind on a little chop. Search yamaha rp190 hot sheet and the test conditions listed on it show a 16 pitch aluminum talon prop with about the same performance I got.
