    Hit something with my Fortrex...

Like I said, I hit a stump this weekend with my fortrex. I mean, I smoked it. We were covering water quickly and I didn't even see it coming up. When I hit it, my fortrex made a loud pop.

So, now when I hit the foot switch and use the pedal to try and rotate, it barely will allow me to. It's super super tight. But, if I try and rotate the motor while it's not under power, it will turn like normal.

What the heck did I break?

I'd say you probably bent the upper tube of the shaft. Try putting a straight edge on it to see if it's bent.

The upper shaft is probably bent, but on the Fortrex you need to check the rope guide and bow guard also for damage.
