    javalin hyd. steering

    ok guys need some help I have a 02 javelin 185 with a 150hp Yamaha 2 stroke that I would like to put hyd steering on the kits I been looking at say if you have duel cables or speed is over 55 to use the sea star pro , I have duel cables and if water is right I can squeeze 60 out of it so do I really need to go with it or can I get by with the other one ,I just cant stand to drop 1000-1200 on that kit or if somebody can point me towards a better deal thanks

    Don't cut corners with your steering. You need the Pro system. Just keep shopping around to find the right price.

    You can also look into the U-Flex system, I put one on my Stratos 285 and was very happy with it, I think they can be found bit cheaper than the Seastar units. With that said I now have SeaStar on my current boat and like it also.
