48-49 degrees about a week ago, this was before the cold snap at the end of the week.

I fished down there two days last week, 9 fish total, had a 3lb LM and a 3lb SM. The rest of the fish were small SM which is somewhat unusual for Laurel this time of year. All of the fish came from a blade bait or shiners. I threw a slider grub and a jig some but couldn't get bit on either one. I haven't fnf fished there in several years. It seems I always caught more trout than SM on the fnf there.

The water level is high and I had difficulty finding any bait schooled up. The fish and baitfish seemed to be very scattered. The wind here has been bad this week, but I think it's supposed to die down some for the next few days. Post back on how you do, I hope to go back down either Monday or Tuesday. Good luck

45,000 trout just got stocked this week. So fnf might get tore up by them.

We ended up going to Cumberland instead this morning and fished out of beaver creek. Water was super clear and the bite was slow. Only had six fish all day. I'm hoping to hit Norris next weekend.
