Aluminum spare advice! Phoenix 618pro 175proxs

Have been running a 24p fury most of last year with good numbers (65mph 5900-6000 rpms tournament load/partner- 70mph 6050rpms solo with light loads) Im adding 10' talons this winter and would like to grab a spare prop to beat up in the off season/non tournaments.

Any advice? Top end isnt super important but I would like to get on pad relatively fast and I see there are some 4blade aluminum props around

Aluminum Props don't perform well on higher hp engines due to blade flex. They are ok for a spare just to get you home but that's about it.With those rpm's you don't want to drop down in pitch. A Tempest 25 will turn about the same rpm and you can usually find a used one fairly cheap. I think a Trophy 25 would work ok for you too.

You might have to go to a different prop after mounting the poles.

You need to install the Talons First, then report back with the WOT rpm's.
