    Anybody replace their windshields?

Both mine broke. I ordered a new pair from Stroker last summer and am just getting around to installing them. Neither come anywhere close to matching the lines on the console. Drivers is too short on the right side, too long on the left. Passengers broke in half screwing it down. Are there different versions of the windshields? Do they all fit wonky like these or did I get a bad pair? Trying to decide if I should live with no windshields or try again on another pair.

you need to heat them up before you install them, otherwise they will break

What are they made of? Polycarbonate? I'll try heating the one that didn't break and see if it will form to the lines on the console. What can be used to trim them to fit?

i dont know what they are made out of. after fitment, i would use a hand held grinder with some type of sanding wheel if i needed to trim anything.

I believe they are plexiglass that has been formed hot over a mold.

If you put down a bed of silicone before you set the screws makes the windshield very rigid.

I replaced mine back when I first got the boat. They came from Stroker all ready to be installed. I just removed the old broken ones cleaned everything up put down some new caulking and then screwed to new ones in place with the pre-drilled holes. Nothing to it!

How far off are the holes. If you use silicone you will still need to use the screws.

Hey bpetrie sent you a pm on this but , Talked to Allice today as I ordered a passenger one and it did not fit and holes did not line up she said not to worry they will fix it .It is one thing to have a problem but what separates you from the rest is how you handle it . I just want to say that old Chub and Allice are one of a kind and you can not ask for better people.
