This feller came out with 3 other bucks and 7 does this afternoon...not a giant but a very good buck...scarred up badly and blind in one eye..this buck has been around... even had a few teeth knocked out...thick horns made him a bully I think..

The way it's rained the last few days it's a wonder they aren't overly saturated and waterlogged....they were very nice and clean from the rain..I almost felt bad when I got to the buck...it was a clean shoot..down in his tracks...he was very healthy but with what I said about him having been around, this buck not only with the eye but cuts on his neck, head, face and puncture wounds that had healed or started to heal....only ever seen one other buck that was this badly covered in battle scars and it was right in the middle of the Alabama rut and he was missing an antler on public property...just shows how fierce they really can get in the wild when looking to breed...it's amazing...Originally Posted by Choothim
