    201 guys running tempest

    Guys I'm running a 250 pro xs and want to know your pvs configuration for a tempest.

    I runs minds with all the plugs out .But i have a 2.5 200 HP also .Which want help you very much .

    Mine has quite a bit more torque and lower is different.

    26 Tempest Plus with a little work done to it nothing to fancy. Not sure what gear case I have. Motor is 2 3/4 below the pad.

    Once you account for poles that's similar to my 27. What's your holeshot rpms and top end?

    Not sure on the holeshot numbers comes out the hole good, summertime with livewells full it can be a little sluggish but not bad. I'm talking when it's 90 to 100 degrees. Top end 70 to 72 mph 5600 to 5700 rpm's

    I run a 28 sl4 to 74 but it needs tip cup I'm seeing 16.5% slip should see 79 at 5900 I'm surprised you aren't seeing more speed.

    I'm sending it to mark he's gonna put a little tip cup to eliminate blowing out with holes open.
