    3/4 pin seat base

    Hi everyone
    Happy new year .
    How does a 3/4 pin setup for a pedestal seat compare with a 1.75 setup older champs use?
    Is it as strong?

    Sorry I didn't see your PM before responding to this, I've got the taper lock (old style) Springfield Marine. To same $$ I got the Taper lock conversion insert from Academy and went with the 3/4" pin Power Pole. No issues at all.

    Good to hear, I will use the offset 3/4 pin base just as it is instead of modifying it into a 1.75 snap-lock.
