    Need the Fisherman's Perspective

Happy 2017!!! We're working on new items for our Allison Gear and Accessories line and would love some input from our Allison fishermen on rain gear. What type and/or brand do you prefer and is the best in terms of quality and purpose?

    Thanks and appreciate your feedback.

I use Simms, I've tried a lot of others over the years but in terms of quality in my opinion you cannot beat Simms.

They are the "Allison" of rain gear in terms of quality IMO

I have Huk and Columbia. Both seem to be good and lightweight
I wanted to try Simms also but $$$.

    Loving the new boat.

I just bought a set of Stormr after seeing Greg Hackney wear them to the two coldest classics in history.

Sure wish i had waited now that I know you are going to come up with something with the Allison logo on them!! dang it

I use Bass Pro 100 MPH and it works, not the best, but it keeps me dry and warm.

Simms for me! Please consider the lightweight version pants and jacket and the heavier bib and jacket styles. BTW, are you going to offer the Nylon outer fleece inner hooded jacket?

The Simms looks nice but if you are considering that set for 1000 dollars you can count me out.......

Maybe offer two types. A high end and a midrange. I for one cant see paying 400 dollars for a rain suit.

I'll second that!!! i don't have the eped (opted out of it when i ordered my boat) therfore my bow area is open in between the foot pedal and the bow panel. I use that area for tools and a water bottle. My Lowrance is mounted in there as well on a long HD ram mount as well. Pretty handy
