    Point One Antenna

What do you need to connect a Point One to a Garmin 7612xsv? Does it come with everything you need or do you have to order additional pieces? Where is the best place to mount the antenna? I really only use it for my front graph. Thanks

You have to have a NMEA network.Plug the Point1 into NMEA & your 7612 into NMEA..My 7610 picked up the Point1 as soon as I turned it on..

As far as mounting, it needs to be away from metal objects or electrical devices that create magnetic fields - like speakers, stereos, radios, wire bundles, screw drivers, trolling motors, etc. It has a built in compass that wont work properly if its too close to anything like that.

I made some changes to my setup. I now have 2 gps19x pucks...one on the bow and on the rear both as close to the transducers as possible. I moved my heading sensor to the console
