    Legend 199/Tactical Pricing

I'm thinking of buying a new boat in the next year or two and the Alpha 199 is looking pretty good to me.

What kind of ballpark price would I expect to see with one 9" graph, 80lb TM and max hp four stroke motor? I do not need a bunch of bells and whistles so bare bones is fine with me.

In checking out the website they have a Tactical Edition that can be spec'd to the buyers branch of service which sounds pretty cool. There is mention of special pricing on these, but no specifics I could find. Do any of you guys have any idea about this?

    Thanks, Keith

Feel free to give me or Richie a call and we can price one out. I think we would be the closest Legend Dealer, I don't stock the 199 but I always keep three V-20's in stock so you could get an Idea of the layout of the boat from one of those.

I priced the Tactical 199 a few years, and was told about $48k. It's probably a little more by now.

You should also consider buying a demo boat. Some pro-staffers will order a boat exactly how you want it, and only use it a few times before selling it to you. It still carries the original warranty that way too. At least, that’s what I was told.

I think the new "tactical" boats are only sold to vets or active service members.

    A navy color scheme.
Battleship gray tones or Navy blue and white.
    Thank you for your service.
I just got my 211r this week.
    I went with blue colors.

From what I saw on the website it said colors representative of your branch of service. Being a USN roof rat I would lean towards Blue Angle blue and yellow. Haze gray would be a deal breaker.

I don't know how many hundreds of gallon of that sh!t I sprayed/rolled/brushed in my time but gray makes me sick to my stomach It so bad, it takes a lot of used boats out of play because of the gray carpet 90% of boats come with.
