    Where's this Hose Go?

I found this hose that looks like its supposed to be connected to something, not connected on this end. It rums up behind the starter and connects to the top of the emergency oil tank on my VMAX 150. Where it was hanging, you can see that it's been leaking what appears to be premix too, at least that's what's on the plastic box behind it.

    Any ideas where this goes?

    Thanks,

    Scott

Oil tank vent and overflow. Connects to air silencer fitting.

Thanks! Where's the air silencer fitting? And would this be why I have premix in the housing?

Might look something like this. This is a VZ250 illustration. Don't know what kind of motor that you have.

No Yamaha Vmax model of any kind that I know of uses premix. Now there are some misguided souls that remove the oil injection system and use premix oil/gasoline but damned if I know why.

Thanks, it does slip onto a nipple on the intake housing but higher up.

What I meant by premix was that there's fuel and oil mixture that has sprayed onto the intake housing in front of the carbs and leaked into the bottom of the cowling. Not premix per se, but mixed non the less.
