A DI shot from last week of some fish holding on an old channel. I have the original 597 DI hoping to upgrade soon. Caught some decent bass in the area (<100 yds from this image). unfortunately I couldn't get a bass to bite fishing this exact spot.. I'm assuming the bottom right are bass. This Lake has ridiculous amounts of catfish, good gizzard/threadfin population and some crappie most are big they don't seem to spawn annually only when conditions are right. Man made lake. Any thoughts on the suspended fish? Possibly big shad getting preyed on?
