Looking for ideas to hide the bow mount power wire and US2 wire. Thinking about drilling a hole next to the motor base to have all wiring hidden. Maybe mount the plug vertically next to the motor base, unless I will have water/shorting issues. Anyone have pics or comments to make a clean install at the bow is greatly appreciated!
I would drill the hole like you said and forget the plug and wire direct. A terrova kills the power when stowed. Or put a switchable breaker at the Battery.
I do have a buss 60a switch breaker for near the battery. I may wire direct, but will lose the detachable plate feature..
Airs direct use a clamshell for the penetration and install a shutoff.
If you want to keep the plug just run it as is. It looks fine. There is nothing wrong with it.

If you have it set up as removable, then you will need a two wire connection (such as an Anderson connection) at the trollingmotor, then hardwire the rest of the lead. This way, you can unplug at the trolling motor when ready to remove.
