Has anyone ever removed a dash panel on a stratos 19ss extreme? Need to trouble shoot several gauges and can't see the back of the gauges(fuel and trim) Also when hooking up new electronics do you run all new wire directly from the battery or jump off an accessory switch? Any help appreciated.
I have removed the panel(s) on a 99 21 SS Extreme, then pulled the panels forward, they don't give you a lot of wire so the pull out
is short but workable, I also have a HDS 5 in the center of the dash and I have removed it to gain access to the back of the gauges as well.

Hold-em tight and give-em lotsa slack !!!
Not hard but take time. As mentioned the wires inside the console are short and leaves not alot of wiggle room to move out the gauges to replace.
