Johnson 200 hp trim cylinder rebuild

looking for some help the tilt cylinder doesn't seem to be holding. When you goose it in reverse the motor comes up. Same if you chop throttle while on plane. My factory service manual has no instructions on rebuilding the cylinder. I have the seal kit just would feel better about tearing into it with some destructions. I have searched everywhere and no luck so figured I would try the gurus on bbc.
    Thanks

For this repair it is easier to remove the TNT assembly from the motor. Place the unit in a vice and then use a spanner wrench and remove the cap for the tilt ram, then remove the ram from the tilt cylinder, remove the nut and replace the internals. Inspect the tilt ram for gouges and dings. While the ram is out, it would be a good time to replace the TNT fluid in the assembly. Fill the assembly and then reverse the removal process for assembly.

The repair process is in a separate manual, on older models it is in the service manual.
