    top speed 70.5 mph @ 6000 rpm
    warm day, full of gas and 2 people
    at pickwick lake in northwest al.
    love that skeeter performance
    took both hand off of the wheel at 69 mph and it still ran straight
    no chiming what so ever

    myself and partner, both of us on the husky side, full wells, full tanks, all our gear, 6-8" chop, consistantly running 72 - 73 on gps. Best top speed was just after break in myself and half full tanks no gear, 75.7 gps. All of this in the cool spring time. Runs around 71 - 72 in the summer months.

    Didn't do a thing, came that way from the dealer, the dealer had checked out the motor and he said it was a strong 225, close to the 250 range in prop shaft HP. I raced a 22Z Ranger with a 300HPDI and he wasn't that far ahead of me . Gotta like Skeeters.

    stock yamaha 23M prop
    no jack plate 2nd bolt hole
    65 degrees with 4 people and full tank and live well
    61.8 gps unknown rpms, looking into tack problem
    should easly do 65 lightly loaded and very stable, no chinewalking1

    added 10" slidemaster, now 3 1/2" below pad, 67.5 gps @ 6100 just me, and 75 degrees out
    65 full turnny load and two 220# guys, one full live well, full tank

    fastest fish and ski I know

    '99 zx202 '97 200ProV HT Pase II - 27m worked by Mark to a strong 26. 6000 rpm full gear - me (215) 3/4 tank. 50' above sea level at 50 degrees. 78.6 gps. Double takes as I pass the 20I's with 250's.....

    Update. Just ran my fastest since the new purchase last year.

    ZX190/175 HPDI
    25M at 1 1/2 below pad
    16ga. of fuel
    All my gear/ livewells empty
    Air temp 51 and water 63
    68.59mph at 5900 rpms.
    3/4 trim, water pressure at 15psi

    I have the exact boat but with a 25pitch prop and I'm only hitting 5400 RPM's. I'm working on finding a good set up. right now my prop shaft is 5 5/8" below pad (middle hole mounting). Added a custom cavitation plate to reduce porpusing but it's still there. I have some work to do I can see.

    Are all the 2006 200 HPDI's the small block? I could swear mine is the 3.3litre
