89' SF 175 DF 18'5" Merc 175 BlackMax Detwieler 6" manual j/p This boat would run around 63.5gps with two guys and gear, near full gas at around 58-6000 rpm with the factory original 24 Turbo 3 blade. This spring I ran a 25 TROPHY by myself, 3/4 tank of fuel(30gal+-), same rpm's in some slightly rough water to 66.7gps. Just got a new(to me) 25 Tempest to try. Haven't had a chance to ring her out.I would be really happy if I could push this rig to 70

Re: Skeeter owners post your numbers

    Boat: 1998 ZX175
    Motor: Yamaha V-Max 150
    Jackplate: 12" setback
    Propshaft: 1.5" below pad.
    Top Speed(gps)/RPM/Prop:
    72mph/6100rpm/Rich Boger worked 25-M
    68mph/6200rpm/25p Stock High Five
    67mph/5800rpm/26p Tempest
70mph/6200rpm/Yamaha little eared 24p four blade (my favorite since I threw a blade on the 25-M)

All testing done with full tank of fuel, all gear, no passenger, smooth water.
Every now and then, with a nice chop, gps will blink 70mph with a passenger and tournament load, but, won't hold it.
