have gnarly cavatation effect upon plane since new motor installed. May need more set back, or transom wedges....

I don't see a thread in the Skeeter forum about setups and top speeds. Thought maybe we should start. Something like this from the Ranger forum.

Boat: 07' ZX190

Setting to Pad: 2.75" below Pad
Top Speed: 66.4 water glass no wind
RPMs: 5800
Notes: Full load(atleast all my equipment) and 27 gallons of gas, plus my fat arse at 200lbs. Also included a pic for proof.

All numbers should be with full full tanks, and tourney load with partner and live wells full, cause that what counts......😃

switched to a 25 fury. Have the prop shaft 3" under pad. With full live weeks and partner, full of gas, 81.7 mph at 5850 on gps & smart craft gauges... Yeah, I said 81.7!!!!

Same boat/motor year. Saw 62 last week. 3 guys, 3/4 fuel, 4 batteries (3-31's and a 27), wells full. Every compartment was full of gear. I thought I would have gotten a little more out of it but maybe the load hindered it some.

I run the same speed with that setup. 3 27s and 1 29,2 power poles. 68.0mph at 5150-5200 rpms, Is typical tourney load with my t1-27, have 25 t-1 that needs fixed by mark maybe get 1 more mph maybe 2.
