1989 SKEETER SD 80 with a 1991 75 HP MERCURY stock aluminum prop & boat loaded with gear & 12 gallons of gas. 43.3 MPH(GPS)with the wind blowing on my bald head! Never caught any fish running that fast but I never fish at that speed either. I've had bigger & faster boats but never had any more FUN than I am now & that's what it's all about. No stress & plenty of relaxation.RETIREMENT is much better than anyone ever told me! "GONE BASSIN" {:>) }:>)
I did have her up to 80 MPH for a couple minutes the other day but then I reset the cruise control on the Dodge Quad Cab & put her back in the slow lane on I-10 East Bound! LOL

I need some help!!!! 2011 ZX200
12" slidemaster
200 vmax hpdi series 2
2 minn kota talons
25ti yamaha prop
So here's the problem, 2 people, full tourny load, 3/4 tank of fuel, jackplate was at 4 dots and now at 9 dots. The holeshot is horrible and the boat proposes bad and top speed is only
about 60mph with slight chop. I am afraid to go much higher on the jackplate, with the measurements I have at 9 dots the prop is 2.5" below pad. I'm not so much looking for top
speed as much as I am looking to get a normal holeshot and eliminate the porposing. If anyone has this same setup I would greatly apprieciate your input. Also the problem was there
prior to mounting the dual talons, with the weight of the talons the boat sits lower in the back. Thanks

been back to Skeeter 3x and dealer several times and still problems not fixed!
Is this what you mean??
2014 TZX195. Yamaha HPDI 175. 64 mph with full live wells, 2 people, full tanks of gas,no fishing gear up front
2014 ZX 190, 175 HPDI, 25M Prop, 9 dots showing on jack plate. Light load 66.7 gps. Normal load with 2 people is 64.
what kind of water pressure are you seeing at 9 dots? I went to 8 and I felt my Yamaha didn't perform well at all. It seems it runs best at 5 dots, but my hole shot is crazy fast but im only topping out at around 5,400 rpms. Im still breaking in the motor though.
Water pressure is good in the straits just trim down making turns. Im turning about 5600 rpms now. Mine was at 5 dots from the factory and when aired out it was a job to drive it. Now it handles like a dream.
2006 SX200, 200 HPDI, 25 t1, best ive gotten with me in it (280 lb.) Was 64.9. That was at 5800 rpm with full load of tackle and 25 gal. Of fuel. Water temp was 88 degrees. Took it back out today, water temp 74, ambient temp 72, got 67.5.
