    Ultrex foot pedal dimensions

    Several have stated the foot pedal doesn't fit the recess. The recesses with the rounded back doesn't allow for the total length. I've installed them in Basscat's and Rangers without a problem, although the length on the Sabre interfered with the plug and had to put a disconnect at the batteries (as it should have) and leave the plug in. Below is the diagram that I posted earlier showing the dimensions. Please refer to this if if doubt before you order your new Ultrex.

    The dimensions are hard to read here, but copy/paste the thumbnail to paint, then you can enlarge the picture. The original pdf is too large to post here.

    Here is another video made back in August of the Ultrex. Reason I'm posting, it shows the 360 connected to the bowguard. Some have asked about the bracket. I'm in the process of finding out of the bracket will be available or if you're going to have to purchase the Ultrex 360 when it is released. I'll keep you posted.

    Regarding the 360 mount. Just got back in touch with MinnKota. It is his understanding that the current 360 will not work with the Ultrex and they (Humminbird) are saying you will have to go to the Ultrex 360, and looking at a March timeframe on it. They didn't say, but reading into this doesn't look like Humminbird is intending to build a separate bracket only for the Ultrex. We won't know til it comes out if you can purchase the bracket as a "part" (like you can purchase trasducers, cables, etc.) and then if it will retrofit to the 360 that is in use now.

    Here are some other dimensions that could be helpful. The 45" shaft uses the short mount and all other use the long mount.

    Hi guys;

    Some days ago I could see a video on youtube ( here is the link ) on its possible to see an ultrex pedal inside of "normal" comfortroll. I think this recessed foot pedal is an original comfortroll ( I asked to the video author but I haven't had any answer...)

    What do you thinkż?

    Regards

    Is the Ultrex foot pedal bigger than a Fortrex 112?

    Even in paint is still cannot see the dimensions. Would it fit in a tray 12.5 long by 10.57 wide?

    The base is 12.5" long, not counting the strain relief for the cables and 9" wide.

    Here was my solution one my 2013 Nitro Z-7 for the trolling motor not fitting I moved the bracket that holds the wires on the foot pedal and slid it out and mounted it to the front panel on the boat not ideal but I didn't have to cut no holes in the deck of the boat. I also hard wired the power sense I have cut off on the batteries. I attacked a pic below the wires and cables are in no bind

    If its works well will be a great solution for most of all people who have a recessed pedal where the ultrex pedal doesn't fit....

    With the kink in the strain relief you will be breaking steering cables

    2007 Ranger 188 update- The new ULTREX fits in the factory made recessed tray...barely, but it fits!
