If you are going to schnazz it up like you say, figuring out the existing wiring should be a piece of cake.
    Hello Kevin,

Ive seen your posts, I'm going to use your electric fuel pump idea, because I want the boat to auto prime the fuel I let to the outboard.

It seems like a great mod for the OX66. Trying to do whatever I can to keep it running and running well. After my ginormous restoration, I expect that the motor will blow, just to keep in line with the old Bring Out Another Thousand saying....

So far it seems to be around the Dallas area and it seems to be just a few wardens giving the tickets. My boat has them from the previous owner and I unplugged them until there is some kind of law passed making them legal. I agree that they are brighter and should be safer. Again though, it's not the lights themselves, it's the fact that the lights have not gotten the coast guard approval stamp. If you can find some that have the approval seal and they meet the proper angles then you are legal.

Sorry for side tracking the thread and I'm interested in seeing what this technology is, not much around here that is new.

Those ox66's are some great motors.

Since we're automating the boat, let's start with automating the process of converting the pictures for forum use. The Macintosh makes it easy.

Here's your challenge for the most technologically advanced bass boat.

Mount a MK Ulterra on it and convert it over to voice control.

I'd want to be able to launch my boat alone and then call it over to the courtesy dock to pick me up.

    Sort of like this:

Okay, first engineering challenge: read all boat sensors for less than $100. Industrial solutions are robust, and the most flexible, but too expensive. NMEA 2000 solutions are way too expensive for what they provide. (Hence the reason of this project). Looks like I'm going to be breaking out the breadboard to make this cheaper.

Okay, I shall commission this boat project the USS Mountain Home (BBG-202). Guided Battle Bass boat. Don't get the terminology mixed. This is how us sailors pronounce ship class names. Dedicated to all the men and women that have served our country with distinction. HONOR, COURAGE, COMMITMENT.

You need to be able to cut off the fuel pump should an emergency arise. And it needs to be a low pressure pump.
