    center step for 2015 zx225

    any of you guys ever made or know someone who makes the center step for a 2015 zx225? dealer wants $225 for a piece of metal wrapped with carpet.

    Ouch!!! Time to get out poster board and fab a template and then cut one out of metal. $225 is a proud price for that step.

    Two pieces of pressure treated plywood, glued and screwed, cover with carpet and you wont know the difference.

    My dealer just told me that they do not have a step available for my 2015 ZX225. He said the FX step is available but it won't fit the ZX225. Would love to order one regardless of the price. One of my only dislikes about the ZX225....bought my boat almost a year ago and other than the step and the smaller livewells, I have zero problems with the boat.......can't wait to get it on the water as it is snowing 12-18 inches in PA right now.

    ditto. When I ordered my 17 ZX200 this is something I asked for. It looks factory and exactly like the fx boats. For what I paid for the boat I wanted something that looked OEM and not like an afterthought. It looks and works great!

    Sent mine back to skeeter for a repair and they installed one for me at the factory free of charge. It does fit. Call another dealer.
