    MinnKota Battery Chargers--select your battery type

    Just wanted to share some information----I just picked up my new 2017 Puma FTD, and it has a new to me MinnKota 3 bank battery charger.
    These new chargers have the ability to provide different charging profiles for each bank, in my case for Lead-Acid trolling motor batteries and an AGM for cranking.

    Directions are easy to follow, but specific--failing to set the right battery type could cause damage to battery due to improper charging.

    Just wanted to share as a reminder to anyone getting a new Cat with the MinnKota Chargers.

    Yes, you can program each bank and run a combination of batteries.
