Buried my sister in Chicago yesterday.....that's the sad part. The dreary part was the weather! Don't see how people there deal with the incredible cold for so many months. Traffic due to snow/ice was just crawling everywhere. Fortunately our flight home today left on time and we had no issues. I really like downtown Chicago but not this time of year. Minus 10 degrees wind chill is too cold to enjoy anything! Can't imagine sitting through a Bear's game.

Thanks Rick. Second saddest day of my life. She had 8 children and 18 grandchildren. Many spoke at the funeral....tugged at the heart but so proud of them. The circle of life and life is good. We had a good celebration of her's.

If you were close to the lake it wasn't to bad about 9 degrees was the high today by Lake Michigan. -14 is supposed to be the low.
This is about as cold as it gets in this area.
