Very cool! Do you know if it is legal to use these in place of the standard running lights? Look as though they would definitely be brighter. I'll be buying another boat in 2017 and plan to have talons on it so I definitely be interested in these.

Edit: I just looked at your website and it answered my question. Guess I should have looked at it before posting. I'm a dummy.

Meets regulations if manufacturer submitted and had lights certified by an approved light testing lab and carries the USCG approval label.

Does anyone know if an anchor light has to be on the starboard side or can it be on port? The reason why I ask is I will only have one talon and want to mount it on the port side and I would love to install one of these lights.

Any side, as long as it can be seen 360 degrees.

Pontoon boats usually have them in middle with a canopy for example.

Not sure what Talon I even have to be honest, What is the return policy just incase These won't work for mine? I bought my boat used with the talons already on it. I believe they are 8' talons but i don't think they are the new 3 stage? Installation seems like it should work for just about any talon with 4 screws on top any truth to that?

if your motor is on the very top these will not fit, if your motor is on the side/middle of the talon these will fit.

    Thank you,

Hello Justin, quick question if you dont mind. How do you run power to them? Im not interested in it if theres a good deal of work to be done sorting power from my rear navigation light socket- my other concern is how youd run said wires up into the unit. Unless you came up with some ingenious way to use the outside mounting channel that didnt seem chincy.

    Nickyp,

It's really simple/easy. Takes 10-15 minutes, I've had people that have zero mechanical background tackle this and said it was extremely easy. Here is our installation video!

The talon anchor light works great! I installed the kickstand with the talon anchor light and it's awesome.
