Which one is the best representation of it's heritage? We all know that a Russian named Kalashnikov designed/built right at the end of WWII (Automatic Kalashnikov). After the Warsaw Pact, expansion literally went Global. At one time there were over 30 countries producing the AK-47 (and variants) & well over 60 countries using them in there own military. Unfortunately most are building them w/o proper licensing.
Russian built SKS or the AKM? More recently the RAS-47
Zastava M70-PAP......originally Yugoslavian plant (formerly). Serbian plant now.
Romanian WASR-10, Originally called the Pistol Mitraliera (PM63/65) model.
There are a lot of replicated one now a days that have been updated & modernized. But just trying to see what you guys think?>
